Dr. Mark Attridge is a research consultant and writer in independent practice as President of Attridge Consulting, Inc. He has authored more than 100 works on a variety of topics in workplace health benefits and services, mental health and addictions, communications, and psychology. 

Mark holds a Ph.D. degree in Social Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a M.A. degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  He has held research and teaching appointments at the University of Minnesota, the University of Wisconsin, and Augsburg College.  He has taught more than 50 classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels on a variety of topics in communication and psychology. 

Mark provides 12 years of experience in corporate positions including, the National Director of the National Data Cooperative with Watson Wyatt Worldwide and as Principal and Manager of Applied Research at the Optum division of United Health Group.  He frequently speaks at scientific and industry conferences and leads professional development trainings.

He has experience with a broad range of employee health management specialty services and has been most active in the field of workplace mental health and employee assistance programs.  Mark brings a unique scholarly approach to his consulting that derives from his past work with health care service providers, benefit consultants to employers, and academic researchers.

Mark was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he continues to live today with his wife Cheryl Rosebrook. Cheryl serves as business and marketing manager for the organization. She holds a M.Ed. degree from the University of Minnesota in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development.
